Kungen
Guitars. Born in 1987. He is the voice that says 'jump'. When you cross a border or break a barrier he's right there giving your legs strength. When something is holding you back he's the insanity you need to free yourself. Kungen is your will to fight.
John Alfredsson
Drums. Born in 1986. He is the part of you that doesn't stop. When you fall to your knees, he's the voice who whispers 'get up'. When you can taste the blood in your mouth and your hands are broken from hitting into the stone wall he's the one that makes you kick it instead. John is your will to conquer.
Tim Öhrström
Well... This is not Tim on the pic that is Simon, our old guitar player.. But they have the same hair color.. Tim is born 1990 and will get a better description on the website as soon as we have a new picture. He joined Avatar in January 2012 and is to stay for the rest of his life.
Henrik Sandelin
Bass. Born in 1987. He is the part of you that boards the ship that leaves at midnight. He is the feet that walks every little dirt road in the world without ever getting lost. He is your wanderlust that forces you out of your safe haven and into the wild. Henrik is your will to live.
Johannes Eckerström
Vocals. Born in 1986. He is the part of you that you thought you had escaped a long time ago. He's the ugly spawn of every forbidden thought you've ever had, every shameful feeling. He is the echo of your true nature and you're not sure if you fear or love him. Johannes is the wound you don't want to heal. Johannes is your will to scream.

Origin
Avatar and their followers are the once who dare to see their full potential, not afraid to stare deep into whatever darkness that comes their way. Founded in the then young Swedish boy John Alfredsson’s mind by the turn of the millennium, they have always stood for relentlessness and determination. With the addition of every new member the energy has risen like a mushroom cloud. Avatar means a God in disguise. Nothing but greatness is accepted. With the blunt force that is metal music Avatar has set out to claim their kingdom; Earth.

With their new album – Black Waltz – Avatar is once again standing on the front line, ready to fight for everything insane.
